ClearPool™ Limited Warranty Terms
ClearPool™ products are covered by a limited warranty for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase, as shown on the customer’s valid receipt, invoice, or order confirmation.
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, material defects, and failures of covered components under normal residential use, provided that the product has been installed, operated, and maintained according to the instructions provided in the official ClearPool™ user manual.
Warranty Coverage
During the warranty period, ClearPool™ may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product or defective component if the issue is confirmed to be caused by a manufacturing defect or material failure.
To request warranty service, the customer must contact ClearPool™ Customer Support and provide the required purchase information, product model, and a description of the issue. Additional photos, videos, or troubleshooting information may be requested before a product is approved for inspection, repair, or replacement.
If the product needs to be inspected by ClearPool™, the customer may be required to ship the complete product or the affected components to the service address provided by ClearPool™. Once the product is received and evaluated, ClearPool™ will inform the customer whether the issue is covered under warranty.
If the failure is confirmed to be covered by this limited warranty, ClearPool™ will repair or replace the product or component at no additional cost, according to availability and technical criteria.
Warranty Activation
To use this limited warranty, the customer must activate the warranty by completing the official ClearPool™ warranty activation form after receiving the product.
Warranty activation allows ClearPool™ to register the product, purchase date, customer information, and product model in its system, making future support and warranty claims faster and easier.
Failure to activate the warranty may delay warranty service and may require the customer to provide additional proof of purchase.
Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover damage, malfunction, or failure caused by:
Improper installation, operation, or maintenance.
Use of the product contrary to the instructions in the official user manual.
Accidents, impacts, drops, scratches, abuse, negligence, or mishandling.
Water intrusion, moisture damage, rain exposure, or exposure to direct sunlight when the product is not designed or installed for such exposure.
Unauthorized repairs, modifications, opening of sealed components, or tampering with factory security seals.
Electrical issues, power surges, incorrect voltage, faulty wiring, or improper connection.
Use in conditions outside normal residential pool operation.
Failure to maintain proper pool water balance.
Cosmetic wear that does not affect product functionality.
Damage during shipping, unless otherwise required by applicable law or covered by the shipping carrier.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Products that are permanently wired into a pool equipment electrical system must be installed in accordance with all applicable local, state, provincial, and national electrical codes.
Hardwired installations should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional.
The product must be properly grounded and connected to an appropriate circuit designed for pool equipment operation.
ClearPool™ shall not be responsible for product failure, property damage, electrical damage, personal injury, or safety hazards resulting from:
Improper wiring or installation.
Failure to provide proper grounding.
Installation not compliant with applicable electrical codes.
Operation outside the specified voltage range.
Connection to an improperly protected electrical circuit.
Unauthorized modifications to the power cord, plug, wiring, control unit, or internal components.
Any damage resulting from improper electrical installation may void warranty coverage.
LidMount Installation
The LidMount system requires modification of the existing pump lid by drilling an installation hole.
The customer is solely responsible for verifying that the selected pump lid is compatible with the LidMount installation system before performing any modification.
ClearPool™ is not responsible for damage to pump lids, pump housings, plumbing systems, filtration equipment, or related components resulting from:
Improper drilling or installation.
Installation on incompatible pump lid designs.
Cracking, breaking, or deforming the pump lid during installation.
Excessive tightening of hardware.
Failure to follow the official installation instructions.
Modifications performed by the customer or third parties.
Because the installation requires permanent modification of the customer's existing equipment, ClearPool™ does not warrant the customer's pump lid, pump housing, filtration system, or any third-party equipment.
Copper Bars and Consumable Parts
Copper bars, electrodes, and other consumable parts are subject to normal wear and are not covered by this limited warranty.
Copper bar wear varies depending on pool size, water chemistry, usage, filtration time, and maintenance conditions.
However, if copper bars show clearly premature wear and the customer can demonstrate that the product was installed and used according to the official ClearPool™ instructions, ClearPool™ may evaluate the case and determine whether a replacement is appropriate.
Product Inspection and Repairs
For proper inspection and diagnosis, ClearPool™ may request that the customer send the complete product, including the control unit, installation kit, lid mount or pipe connection components, and copper bars, depending on the model.
If only part of the product is sent, ClearPool™ may not be able to fully verify the issue or guarantee that the repaired product will operate correctly, since a component not provided for inspection may be the cause of the failure.
After the product is inspected, ClearPool™ will inform the customer whether the repair is covered under warranty. If the repair is not covered, ClearPool™ may provide a repair estimate.
If a repair estimate is provided and the customer does not approve it or complete payment within ten (10) days, the estimate may expire and a new estimate may be issued based on updated costs.
Replacement Parts
Any component replaced under warranty may be covered for the remaining time of the original product warranty or for ninety (90) days from the replacement date, whichever is longer.
Replacement products or parts may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent, at ClearPool™’s discretion.
Returns and Refunds
This limited warranty provides repair or replacement coverage for eligible defects. It does not automatically provide a refund.
Returns, refunds, or order cancellations are subject to the return policy of the original sales channel where the product was purchased, including Amazon, ClearPool’s official website, or an authorized distributor.
Limitation of Warranty
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
ClearPool™ shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to pool downtime, water treatment costs, labor costs, installation costs, or damage caused by improper use or installation.
Some states may not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages, so some limitations may not apply depending on the customer’s location.
ClearPool™ assumes no responsibility for the installation of the product and is not liable for damages or injuries resulting from installation work performed by third parties, including electricians, pool professionals, contractors, or homeowners.
